Overnight: Magellan explorer
In one of the southernmost navigable regions on Earth, the Patagonian Fjords reveal a world of massive glaciers, untouched forests, and channels carved by millennia of ice and wind. Zodiac excursions bring you face to face with the raw power of Pío XI Glacier — the largest in South America and one of the few still advancing — while the remote boardwalk village of Caleta Tortel, nestled between two ice fields at the mouth of the Baker River, offers a glimpse into a way of life shaped entirely by water and wood.
Further south, the expedition takes you through Torres del Paine National Park with its iconic granite towers and turquoise lakes, and into the pristine wilderness of Yendegaia National Park in Tierra del Fuego, where glaciers, mountains, and ancient forests remain virtually untouched. Whether you are cruising through Glacier Alley along the Beagle Channel or exploring the limestone cliffs of Madre de Dios Island, every day on the fjords delivers landscapes that feel like the edge of the known world.
